Debriefing

Debriefing

When a group of personnel require crisis intervention a defusing or debriefing may be utilized.

A debriefing is limited to a group of people that were involved in an incident and is facilitated by peer(s) and mental health provider(s).

Typically a debriefing is 90-120 minutes in duration depending on many individual factors such as the nature of incident, number of personnel attending the defusing, and concerns/questions the attendees may have.
